EFAP/North, an “Employee & Family
Assistance Program”, is a non-profit society that has
been providing quality services to our member
organizations, their employees,
retirees, and their dependent family members since 1992. We are an
active member of Insight EFAP International. Our offices
are located in North Bay, Huntsville, Parry Sound,
Sudbury, Mattawa and Sturgeon Falls, Ontario.
Our mission is: through a proactive, preventative and
wellness focus builds stronger families, encourage
health and safety and positive relationships in the
home, the workplace and in the community.
We believe that no problem, concern or issue is too
small to receive our full attention. Our experience has
shown us that the earlier an individual is encouraged to
discuss their concerns, the more likely they are to
resolve them. By working together towards the common
goal of wellness we will have a positive outcome for the
individuals, families, organizations and communities.
Our objectives are to provide assistance to employees
(active and retired) and their families in dealing with
personal or interpersonal issues which may affect the
quality of their home or work lives,
and create an
environment that fosters prevention and/or early
intervention, and to reinforce healthy lifestyles.
